Thanks to everyone who participated in April's EpicPromise Week, helping promote Vail Resorts sustainability efforts to guests, employees and our communities. The week was a huge success, with each resort organizing several different outreach efforts and events to highlight the programs of EpicPromise. Relive the festivities at hashtag #EpicPromise!   • Announced 18 Vail Resorts employees who SET THE BAR in terms of giving back and sustainability 
  • Hosted online EpicPromise social media contests to showcase guests and employees "Doing Good" while "Having Fun"
  • Donated books to Colorado elementary schools to help improve literacy levels
  • Recycled more than a ton of old electronics turned in by Breckenridge employeesundefined 
  • Made crafts out of old t-shirts in Park City’s Legacy Lodge
  • Gave out green EpicPromise s’mores at Northstar
  • Sent 200 Corporate employees home with tree saplings
  • Collected food for a local food bank near Afton Alps
  • Posted daily on Kirkwood’s social media channels
  • Distributed EpicPromise coloring sheets and crayon packs
  • Launched aluminum cans into recycling bins with the Kidtopia snowball launcher at Keystone
  • Raised more than $1,600 for Eagle County (CO) charities through the KZYR's EpicPromise Radio-a-Thon
  • Taught ski school kids about recycling and composting in the EpicPromise Interpretive Center at Park City
  • Met resort avalanche dogs – wearing EpicPromise gear!
  • Reached near capacity during Heavenly’s Ski with a Ranger program
  • Taught kiddos about the local ecosystem in Beaver Creek Village
  • Mingled with the Birds of Prey in Vail Village and at Park City Mountain Resort
  • Hosted a Twitter Scavenger Hunt to give out EpicPromise and Keystone swag
  • Planted sugar pine saplings in South Lake Tahoe
  • Sent Summit County (CO) shoppers home with EpicPromise branded reusable shopping bags
  • Donated to a local food bank in Colorado’s Front Range
  • Hosted seven South Lake Tahoe nonprofits in Heavenly’s Tamarack Lodge to encourage others to get involved in their work
